Hi! My name is Artem Kvartalnov. I am a fourth-year PhD student in Government at the University of Texas at Austin and this year's Methods Fellow. I hold B.A. and M.A. degrees from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) and an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. Before coming to UT, I worked and interned at PIR Center and UNDP Eurasia.

I am broadly interested in sources of war and peace. My focus areas include third-party reactions to aggression, the content of international orders, and relative conflict proneness in international relations.

In my spare time, I like hiking and walking. I advocate for free press, peace, public transit, animal rights, and sobriety.
